The LRL is a highly-efficient, “supercharged” infrared illuminator that delivers up to 800 ft (~240 m) absolute performance night vision for critical applications such as port surveillance, force protection and Homeland Security.
LRL features a high-power solid state LED array precision engineered for performance, efficiency and reliability. Solid-state design and integrated heat-sinking construction result in no moving parts and help ensure operational lifetime exceeding five years.
Drawing on world-leading expertise in opto-electronics, the LRL doubles infrared output, outperforming conventional bulb-based infrared illuminators. The LRL requires only 140 watts to deliver up to 800 ft (~240 m) night vision which was given the only “Excellent” ratings in a US Army comparison report. The LRL is available in various beam angles and wavelengths to match the requirements of a host of applications.
The LRL includes a dedicated power supply as standard and is compatible with various mounting brackets for versatile installation options. The resulting active-infrared night vision images have high signal-to-noise ratio which enables optimal functioning of video-based software such as video motion detection and intelligent scene analysis.
LRL features a IP68 weather sealed housing - enabling underwater submersion to 1 meter - and pressure equalized design, both helping to ensure effective night vision performance in extreme environments. |
